Imagine your child participating in exciting games that foster teamwork, engaging in creative crafts that spark imagination, enjoying athletics that promote physical well-being, and receiving dedicated homework time to support academic success. Our professional and caring staff meticulously plans and monitors all activities, ensuring a safe and positive experience for every child. Funded through parental tuition, our program focuses on accessibility and quality, offering discounted rates for families eligible for free/reduced school meals.

Extended Day Care Program Schedule for Lumberton Families

For families within the Lumberton School District, our extended day care program operates in close alignment with the school calendar. We provide both morning (AM) and afternoon (PM) sessions on all regular school days. Please note that PM EDC is not available on the half-day before Thanksgiving (Wednesday, November 27, 2024), during Winter Break (Friday, December 20, 2024), and on the last day of school (Wednesday, June 18, 2024). However, AM EDC will be offered on these dates.

Our program timings are designed for your convenience:

  • Morning Session (AM EDC): Opens at 6:35 a.m. Monday through Friday on regular school days. On non-scheduled delayed-opening school days, AM EDC begins at 8:35 a.m. For scheduled delayed openings (e.g., Thursday, December 12, 2024), AM EDC starts at 7:00 a.m.
  • Afternoon Session (PM EDC): Operates after school dismissal until 6:00 p.m. on regular school days.

Please be aware that the extended day care program is closed during extended holidays, full snow days, or early dismissals due to severe weather. In case of early dismissal, parents are requested to pick up their children within two hours of school closing to avoid late charges.

Extended Day Care Program Schedule for Edgewater Park Families

Serving Edgewater Park School District families, our extended day care program mirrors the Edgewater Park school calendar. We offer both AM and PM EDC sessions on all school days, with exceptions for PM EDC on specific half days: the first day of school (Thursday, September 5, 2024), days preceding school holidays (Wednesday, November 27, 2024; Friday, December 20, 2024; Thursday, April 17, 2025), and the last day of school (Tuesday, June 17, 2025). AM EDC will be available on these half days.

Program timings for Edgewater Park are as follows:

  • Morning Session (AM EDC): Starts at 7:00 a.m. Monday through Friday on regular school days and 9:00 a.m. on delayed-opening school days.
  • Afternoon Session (PM EDC): Runs after school dismissal until 6:00 p.m. on regular school days. Located on-site at the Magowan School, with Ridgway School students provided transportation to and from the EDC location.

Similar to Lumberton, the Edgewater Park extended day care program is closed on extended holidays, full snow days, or early dismissals due to inclement weather. The two-hour pick-up window after early dismissal to avoid late charges also applies.
