The Retention Excellence Award is bestowed upon commands demonstrating exceptional commitment to their personnel’s professional growth and career advancement. A key criterion for this award is excelling in the Career Information Program Review, achieving a score of 90 or higher. NHCC surpassed this benchmark, securing a perfect score of 100 in their CIPR. This flawless performance underscores the effectiveness of NHCC’s career development initiatives and the dedication of its career counseling team.

Beyond the exemplary CIPR score, NHCC also achieved zero failed submissions for Career Waypoints (CWAY) applications. Furthermore, the clinic met or exceeded all established retention benchmarks for enlisted Sailors with 14 years of service or less. These accomplishments collectively demonstrate NHCC’s proactive approach to nurturing talent and retaining experienced personnel within the Navy. The Retention Excellence Award serves as a testament to NHCC’s success in fostering a supportive environment that prioritizes Sailor development through a robust Career Information Program Review process.
