Clark County CARES Rental Assistance Program (CHAP) Now Accepting Applications

Are you a resident of Clark County, Nevada, facing housing challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic? The Clark County Social Service (CCSS) is now accepting applications for the CARES Housing Assistance Program (CHAP), designed to provide crucial rental assistance to those in need.

The Cares Rental Assistance Program, known as CHAP, is a vital initiative created to support Clark County residents who have experienced significant financial hardship directly or indirectly related to the COVID-19 emergency. This program offers financial aid to cover housing costs for eligible individuals and families who are struggling to make ends meet during these challenging times.

It’s important to understand that the level of assistance provided through CHAP is contingent upon the availability of CARES Act grant funding. As such, the program operates on a first-come, first-served basis until all allocated funds are exhausted. Prospective applicants are encouraged to apply as soon as possible through the dedicated Clark County Social Service (CCSS) CHAP Application portal: https://chap.clarkcountynv.gov/.

To be eligible for the CARES Rental Assistance Program, applicants must meet specific criteria:
