Located just thirty minutes from the vibrant heart of downtown Chicago, this 749-bed facility is a Level I trauma center and boasts a Level III NICU, signifying its advanced capabilities in critical care. Advocate Christ Medical Center is nationally recognized for its outstanding services in cardiovascular medicine, emergency care, surgery, neuroscience, oncology, and women’s health. Adding to the comprehensive learning environment, Advocate Children’s Hospital – Oak Lawn, a dedicated children’s facility since 1996, shares our campus. This four-story hospital includes 45 private inpatient rooms, a 15-bed pediatric intensive care unit, and a specialized 9-bed pediatric surgical heart unit, ensuring robust pediatric training within our family medicine program.
