Hello, my name is Angela Wheeler, and I am deeply honored to serve as a Certified Nurse Aide Instructor at Goodwill Industries of Greater Grand Rapids’ CNA program. Each participant who chooses to join our CNA classes here at Goodwill inspires me and fuels my passion for teaching. Witnessing their dedication and perseverance is truly awe-inspiring. Beyond my professional life, I enjoy life’s simple pleasures with my husband as dog parents, indulging in Ballroom Dancing lessons, and singing – perhaps not always perfectly, but always with joy. My proudest accomplishment is my determination to follow through on my goals. This drive, combined with faith in myself and a commitment to hard work and continuous learning, has allowed me to surpass both personal and professional milestones. Sharing this wisdom and experience with aspiring CNAs is a truly humbling opportunity.
One of the most rewarding aspects of teaching within the CNA program at the Goodwill Career Center is the extraordinary team I collaborate with. Each member brings unique and incredible talents to our shared mission: to positively impact lives with empathy, insight, and unwavering commitment.
