Located in Park Ridge, just northwest of Chicago, Advocate Lutheran General Hospital (ALGH) is a Level 1 trauma center boasting over 650 beds and 20 operating rooms. ALGH’s high surgical volume sees over 20,000 operations performed annually. This hospital is a comprehensive training environment, hosting multiple residency and fellowship programs and educating over 200 residents and fellows alongside 900 medical students each year.
Advocate Christ Medical Center: A Quaternary Care Leader
Advocate Christ Medical Center (ACMC), situated in Oak Lawn southwest of Chicago, is a quaternary hospital equipped with over 800 beds, including 170 ICU beds, and 44 operating rooms. ACMC manages an impressive surgical caseload, performing over 26,000 operations each year. ACMC supports numerous residency and fellowship programs and is recognized as one of the busiest Level 1 trauma centers in the Midwest and hosts one of the nation’s most active emergency rooms.
