The Aurora Lakeland Rural Training Track is a distinctive 1-2 Family Medicine residency program. This structure means residents benefit from a diverse experience, starting with their PGY1 year in Milwaukee. During this initial year, residents engage in inpatient rotations alongside the Aurora St. Luke’s Family Medicine residents, gaining valuable experience in a larger urban medical center. The subsequent PGY2 and PGY3 years are based at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn.
