Each July, a new cohort of ambitious individuals joins the FCFP at various Boeing sites across the United States, including Washington, Missouri, and Arizona. This program distinguishes itself through a dynamic structure featuring four six-month rotations across diverse Boeing locations and business units. Participants experience a company-sponsored relocation every six months after their initial placement, immersing themselves in the financial operations of Boeing’s key U.S. production sites, spanning locations such as Washington, Missouri, Pennsylvania, Arizona, California, Oklahoma, South Carolina, and Texas.
This rotational design ensures participants gain a breadth of experience, developing critical technical skills and a holistic understanding of Boeing’s vast business and corporate portfolios. Rotations are strategically crafted to expose participants to core financial principles including cash and cost management, market trend analysis, accounting policy, financial reporting, and the intricate financial relationships between aircraft manufacturing and aftermarket services. You will also gain invaluable experience in proposal development and contract negotiations, essential skills for any finance professional aiming for leadership roles.

This placement process carefully considers individual career aspirations, location preferences, demonstrated performance throughout the program, and the overarching business needs across all U.S. Boeing sites. Positions within the Boeing Finance Career Foundation Program are available at major Boeing U.S. sites, including Berkeley, MO, Saint Charles, MO, Hazelwood, MO, Mesa, AZ, Tukwila, WA, Everett, WA, Renton, WA, and Seattle, WA. While some rotations may offer telecommuting options, on-site presence at the assigned location is a core requirement to foster strong professional relationships and team collaboration.
Security Clearance and Basic Qualifications:
Aspiring applicants should note that this position necessitates the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, a prerequisite for which is U.S. Citizenship.
Basic Qualifications for the Boeing Finance Career Foundation Program include:
- A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a Business-Related Field, to be completed by June 2025.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, evidenced through internships, volunteer roles, or university club/association involvement.
Preferred Qualifications:
While not mandatory, preferred qualifications enhance an applicant’s profile:
- A strong academic record with an Overall GPA of 3.5 or above on a 4.0 scale.
- Prior experience, whether paid or unpaid, in fields such as Business, Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Economics, Contracts/Negotiations, Financial Planning, Estimating and Pricing, or Statistics.

The Boeing Finance Career Foundation Program provides relocation assistance to the initial program location, based on eligibility. Furthermore, company-sponsored relocation is provided for each of the second-year rotations, encompassing a lump sum payment and travel allowance.
