Our commitment to excellence is reflected in our continuous accreditation by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). We take immense pride in our graduates’ consistent success on the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) certification exams, boasting a 100% board pass rate for many years. This consistent achievement is a testament to the unwavering support Community Health Network has provided to family medicine education for over four decades.
A defining aspect of our Community Health Care Program Family Medicine Residency is our deep commitment to serving vulnerable populations. We are privileged to care for a diverse patient population, including many underserved individuals, within our clinics and hospital. This commitment led to the establishment of our Underserved Care Track in 2016, further solidifying our dedication to addressing health equity. Our care settings are multilingual and multicultural, reflecting the rich diversity of Indianapolis. Community Hospital East, a vital pillar in its neighborhood, expanded its facilities with a new patient care tower in 2019, enhancing our capacity to serve the community. Across all our clinical sites, learning is enriched through close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, including social workers, psychologists, pharmacists, nurses, and care managers.
