Our Divorce Support Group, led by Certified Divorce Coach Ansle Hudson and supported by legal and financial professionals, offers a confidential space to process emotions, gain valuable insights, and access expert advice. Dementia Caregivers Support Group
Caring for a loved one with dementia requires immense patience and understanding. Grief Care Support Group
Experiencing loss, whether it’s the loss of a loved one, a job, or any significant aspect of life, can be profoundly isolating. Davidson Career Transition Program: Your Partner in Career Success
The Davidson Career Transition Program (DCTP) is a testament to Davidson United Methodist Church’s commitment to holistic community care. This program, a joint effort with Davidson College Presbyterian Church (DCPC), is specifically designed to empower individuals through job transitions. Whether you are unemployed, seeking a career change, or aiming for professional growth, DCTP offers valuable resources and personalized support.
What DCTP Offers: Workshops and Coaching
DCTP provides practical workshops held monthly, except in July, in the Alexander Education Building of DUMC. These workshops cover essential aspects of job searching, including:
- Career Strategies: Developing effective approaches to your job search.
- Networking: Building and leveraging professional connections.
- Resume Building: Crafting compelling resumes that highlight your strengths.
- Interview Skills: Mastering techniques to excel in job interviews.

Beyond workshops, DCTP offers one-on-one coaching with experienced volunteers. Davidson United Methodist Church provides comprehensive pastoral care, offering guidance and support during challenging times.
