Are you a recent graduate eager to launch a meaningful career with a global leader? The Marsh Early Career Program offers an exceptional two-year opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of insurance broking and risk management. At Marsh, a renowned global leader, you’ll gain invaluable industry training, access dedicated development resources, and work alongside seasoned professionals across the US and Canada. This program is designed to empower you to make an immediate impact and shape your career trajectory from day one.

What is the Marsh Early Career Program?

Formally known as Marsh’s TRAC program, the Marsh Early Career Program is a comprehensive two-year career accelerator specifically crafted for recent graduates. Unlike rotational programs, Marsh’s program plunges you directly into impactful and significant work within either Client Management or Risk Practices. From the outset, you’ll be supported by a dedicated program team providing the platform and resources necessary to thrive and contribute meaningfully in your chosen role.

Before you even join Marsh, you’ll have the opportunity to choose between two distinct career paths: Client Management or Risk Practices. Throughout the interview process, you’ll delve deeper into these paths and rank your preferred business groups. This collaborative approach ensures that, upon receiving an offer, we can align your placement with your interests, skills, and business needs. While we prioritize matching your preferences, flexibility is appreciated as placements are ultimately based on business requirements.

Career Paths: Client Management vs. Risk Practices

The Marsh Early Career Program offers two distinct yet equally rewarding career paths, allowing you to specialize and develop expertise in areas that align with your interests and strengths.

Client Management: Account Specialist

Choosing the Client Management path positions you as an Account Specialist, a vital client expert within Marsh. In this role, you will be at the forefront of client relations, focusing on retaining existing client partnerships, acquiring new business opportunities, and providing seamless day-to-day account servicing. Potential business placements within Client Management include dynamic areas such as Asia Client Services, Corporate, and Global Risk Management (GRM).

Risk Practices: Associate Broker

Opting for the Risk Practices path leads you to become an Associate Broker, a product specialist with deep technical knowledge of risks and intricate insurance coverage products. As an Associate Broker, you will be the primary point of contact for interactions with insurance markets and clients, leveraging your expertise to navigate complex risk landscapes. Business placements within Risk Practices can include diverse groups like Casualty, Property, and Qualified Solutions Group (QSG), or specialized sectors such as Construction, Credit, Healthcare, and Life Sciences.

A Day in the Life: What to Expect

Each day in the Marsh Early Career Program offers a dynamic and engaging experience, contributing to real-world client solutions. Your typical day might include a variety of activities, such as:
