Ivy Tech has no application deadlines for the Patient Care Technician program. Steps to Apply for the Patient Care Technician Program

(1) Apply to Ivy Tech for the PCT Program

If you are a new applicant to Ivy Tech Community College, or if it’s been more than two years since you last attended classes, your first step is to apply to Ivy Tech, specifically for the Patient Care Technician Certification Program. You can complete your application online or seek in-person assistance. For in-person application support, connect with your local admissions team to schedule an appointment. (2) Submit Necessary Assessment Documents

After submitting your application for the Patient Care Technician program, you will be prompted to upload relevant documentation. This may include SAT/ACT/PSAT scores, high school transcripts, and any previous college transcripts. If you don’t have immediate access to your scores or transcripts, don’t worry. Proceed with submitting your application for the PCT program. You can always return to upload assessment documents at any point before the end of the term you are applying for.

(3) Watch for Your Confirmation Email

Upon processing your application for the Patient Care Technician Certification Program, you will receive a confirmation email at the email address you provided in your application. Typically, this email arrives within 1-2 business days of submission. However, during peak processing times (April-June), it may take between 5-10 business days to receive your confirmation.
