Finding the right career path after graduation can feel like navigating a maze. Many college graduates spend months searching for their first job, only to question if they’ve made the best choice. Belden understands this challenge, which is why we’ve developed the Belden Early Career Leadership Program (ECLP), a unique approach to launching your professional journey. Instead of immediately placing you in a specific role, the ECLP is designed to cultivate your leadership skills and guide you to the ideal position within Belden after you gain practical experience across various business areas.
This dynamic, three-year rotational program provides recent graduates with invaluable exposure to diverse facets of our global business. Participants in the Belden Early Career Leadership Program experience a fast-paced learning environment, exploring different functions to discover where their passions and talents truly align. The ECLP offers hands-on tracks in key areas, including:
- Finance and Accounting
- General Management
- Human Resources (HR)
- Information Technology (IT)
- Operations & Supply Chain
- Research & Development
- Sales & Marketing
Depending on their chosen tracks, participants in the early career leadership program may have the opportunity to work in various Belden locations around the world, gaining a global perspective. Each participant completes three one-year rotations, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of different career paths within their areas of interest. These rotations are not just observational; they involve real-world, hands-on experiences through daily tasks, special projects, and dedicated training.
The Belden Early Career Leadership Program goes beyond rotations, providing participants with significant advantages:
- Mentorship from Senior Leaders: Receive direct feedback and guidance on your work and ideas from experienced Belden leaders.
- Global Business Network: Develop valuable connections with peers and colleagues across the globe through collaborative learning projects.
- Access to Senior Executives: Gain inspiration, education, and invaluable insights through interactions with Belden’s top executives.
In July 2021, Belden celebrated the accomplishments of six ECLP graduates who successfully completed the program. These individuals have now transitioned into full-time roles within Belden, in positions that directly align with their strengths and interests discovered during their rotations:
- Merve Arabul, HR Manager
- Lukas Barth, Lean Projects Manager
- Emir Baydur, Production Team Leader
- Felix Dressler, Connectivity Center Manager
- Alessia Favaro, Strategic Marketing Manager
- Dale Lettern, Internal Account Support & Manager
A graduation ceremony was held in Neckartenzlingen, Germany, to honor these achievements, with Belden Vice Presidents Brian Lieser, Eleazar Esquivel, Andries Boone, and Karin van Meurs in attendance. The event recognized the dedication and hard work of these Belden Early Career Leadership Program graduates as they embark on the next phase of their careers.
We are incredibly proud of our recent ECLP graduates and excited to support their continued growth and success at Belden. The Belden Early Career Leadership Program is a testament to our commitment to developing future leaders and providing recent graduates with a powerful start to their professional lives. Congratulations to the graduating class of the Belden Early Career Leadership Program!
